  • How to embrace change

  • Personal tools to navigate change

When we brainstormed this episode about navigating change, it felt super aligned given both of our current seasons right now. Both of us are going through a LOT of change right now, and even though it feels right, it is still extremely hard and comes with plenty of resistance. So whether our good friend “change” evokes excitement and rejuvenation into you or creates sheer and utter panic in you, it is inevitable as we grow as individuals - both personally and professionally. So join us as we dive deep into what it looks like to navigate change.

Personal Tools to Navigate Change

There are many ways to let go of the good to make room for great. When we created this episode, we discussed looking at your life and finding the things that are no longer bringing you joy or fulfilling your life. Whether that’s chasing your side hustle dreams and starting your business or maybe you already have a side hustle and are ready to pursue it full time. The idea is that you need to make room for the things that you want in your life. Below are some additional ways that you can step back and look at the ways you can navigate change in your own life.

  • Be vulnerable. Share your journey and what you’re going through with your friends, family or audience (if you’re working on that).

  • Audit your life. Make a list of the things that fulfill you or your dreams and then the things that don’t contribute. Trim the non-contribution list.

  • Be open to opportunity. When you announce what you want to accomplish then opportunities will naturally flow your way.

  • Find your people. Finding your audience or “tribe” will help you navigate change as well because you have people to help validate your feelings.

How to Embrace Change

Once you find the tools to navigate change, it’s time to embrace change! In this episode, we are really leaning into opportunities that come your way and owning your journey. Part of embracing change means staying focused on your goals. We recommend putting your goals down on paper to really solidify what you are trying to achieve. You also shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help. Ask your community, mentor, peers, or do a deep reflection on yourself to start embracing the change you want to see in your life.
